Abby took pictures in the bluebonnets twice. The first set of pictures was with Uncle Danny and Aunt Melissa. It looks like they had a lot of fun and saw lots of beautiful bluebonnets! The second set of photos was with Daddy and Mommy. Abby was dressed a few times in a dress for the pictures but then we either never made it, it got to windy, or something else happened. Well we finally made it; not in a dress but hey in a bow!!

1st Pictures in the Bluebonnets
Abbygale took some pictures in the bluebonnets. When Mommy was little she use to take her pictures in the bluebonnets too! I am hoping to do annual bluebonnet pictures with Abby! We love this time of year when everything is just so beautiful!

Abbygale is 7 Months Old!
Abby is now seven months (on March 23, 2012). I know I say this after each month goes by but it is just crazy how fast seven months have flown by. She is definitely not an infant anymore and is getting to be a big little lady. She is changing and learning each day. She is at such a fun stage. She is so sweet and loves to be held. She always wants to help me with anything I’m doing. She doesn’t want to be left alone playing. She wants you to either play with her or she wants to do chores with you. She’s our precious little girl.
What is Abbygale up to these days?
*She can wave “hi” and “bye.”
*If she is sitting in a chair that rocks, she gets it rocking by herself.
*She can clap her hand to your hand or bang her hand on the table/highchair.
*She squeals in delight in a very high pitched voice.
*She loves her toys and loves to play these days.
*She is still not a fan of tummy time but we still try. Some days she does better than others but after 10 minutes or so (the very max) she fusses saying she is done with this crap. Needless to say, she isn’t crawling and really not that interested in crawling.
*She reaches for toys and stuff now.
*Her hair is slowly starting to grow. She can wear small barrettes now but her hair is so thin that sometimes the barrettes tend to fall out.
*Little Miss Attitude! She definitely is sassy and has an attitude. Of course, we think it is darling.
*Abby is constantly moving. She doesn’t sit still for anything anymore. Her hands and feet are constantly moving and a kicking.
*Abby is still in size 3 diapers and 9 month clothing. She is wearing a size 2 shoe.
*Numerous people and strangers say she is such a ‘big’ or ‘healthy’ girl. However, we just don’t see it. Abby has chubby cheeks (which are perfect and so darling) but we don’t think she is a big girl whatsoever. Abbygale is a long baby though, which is good because I think she is going to be a tall girl.
*Abby loves playing with her feet. She loves to be barefoot and grab or eat her feet. I think she is going to be our little gymnast.
*It has been said time and time again she looks like a “Little Lorey.” So, I guess you got Mommy’s looks Abbygale!
*I think you have your Daddy’s temper and face expressions. When you are mad EVERYONE knows it. Your face also explains your mood. You have some funny facial expressions, just like Daddy.
*Abby loves to be held in the air like an airplane. She thinks that is just so much fun!
*JUMP, JUMP, JUMP! Miss Abby loves to jump. She likes her jumperoo but she also just likes to jump in your arms.
*Abby still has dark blue eyes with a tint of green. They are big and beautiful!!
*Abby is such a good shopper. She likes being in stores and shopping for fun toys and clothes! I have me a little shopper!
*Abby loves bath time and loves to play with her toys. She does pretty well too if some water gets in her face. I don’t anticipate any problems this summer swimming; I think she is going to enjoy it!
*Abby is still not the best sleeper. She is sleeping better these days because she sleeps with her Mommy and Daddy. Why did we buy a nice crib for her? She totally prefers to touch one of us while she is sleeping. She is so much fun to cuddle with but shhh don’t tell anyone!
*Abby takes a little nap around 9am, 12pm, and maybe one more in the afternoon. They usually are fairly short and you never know for sure if she is going to take a nap or not. The max for nap time is probably one hour.
*Abby goes to bed anywhere from 7:30-9:30 pm and if she is sleeping with us does fairly good. She wakes up a few times for a pacifier. If she is in her crib she wakes up a bunch! She will sleep until about 6:30-7:00 am.
*Abby is drinking probably 4-5 six ounce bottles a day. She sometimes drinks a few ounces once in the middle of the night.
*Abby is eating three meals a day. She is still eating stage 2 baby food and her favorite seems to be vegetables. She likes sweet potatoes and carrots the best. She will sometimes eat fruits but doesn’t care for the meats.
*Abby eats finger foods too. She is learning to feed herself and does pretty well. She is eating the crawling stage snacks, like cookies, wheat teething biscuits, puffs, vegetable cheeto puffs. She also likes yogurt, crackers, bread, oatmeal pies (she loves these), avocados, French fries, mashed potatoes, rice, spaghetti, etc. She is getting so big for sure!
*Abby is such a tv junkie still. She loves tv and her favorite shows seem to be Sesame Street and Barney.
*Abby will sometimes give Mommy kisses (with her mouth wide open)
*Abby gives the sweetest hugs!
*Abbygale tries to bite and chew on everything. Everything she touches goes to her mouth. She is teething and drooling but still no teeth yet.
*Abby tries to bite you sometimes. She also hits, punches, and scratches at your face if you don’t watch out. She has a temper!
*Abby LOVES peek-a-boo. She thinks it is so funny. She can also put a small blanket over her face and then pull it off herself and expects you to say “peek-a-boo.”
*Abby seems to enjoy being outside. She is happy outside even wearing a hat to block some of the wind (she doesn’t try and take it off). We got her a swing that she loves! I think we will be outside every evening.
*Thankfully, Abby is still a good rider. She is in the car a lot so I am so happy she does pretty good riding all over the state. Sometimes she gets a little irritable but nothing that we can’t handle. She gets happy again when you give her a new toy to play with. I sit in the back entertaining her and she usually does just fine. She is a good sport! She now watches outside and looks at the other vehicles and tries to determine where we are going now :)
Abby—At seven months you are just so HAPPY and so VERY SWEET! You are so much fun and just a little hoot! You have a great personality and quite entertaining. Mommy could spend every second with you and be in heaven! I love how you cuddle, giggle, give hugs, squeal in delight, and just have such a good nature. You are always happy and such a good baby – we couldn’t ask for a better little girl. You are so beautiful inside and out and we love you to the moon and back and more! At seven months you are so much fun and growing and learning each day. I can’t wait to see the changes in you at eight months, nine, twelve, all the way to 100 years :)
