Thanksgiving 2012

We had a good Thanksgiving this year.  We stayed very busy.  On Thanksgiving Day we went to Bryan's parents' house for lunch and Granny's house for supper with the Ingram's.  We ate lots of turkey, dressing, and all the fixings and watch some Longhorn football.  Friday we went back to Red Rock to have Thanksgiving with Bryan's family again.  Kristen, Clayton, Colton, Amy, Zachry, LaVerne, Harold, Mackey, Eva, Jerold, and Pat joined us for a day of fun. We bar-b-qued fajitas, shot skeet and targets, and played outside with the kiddos.  It was a great day and lots of fun.

I didn't take many (next to none) pictures this year at Thanksgiving.  I'm not sure what happened to me not capturing the moment.  Shame on me.  However, here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving.  Abby was so cute sitting in the Car's chair at her Grandpa's and Nana's house.  She stretched out and looked so comfy!  Abby was so tired after Friday's party she checked out on our way home :)

Sea World - Trip #3

We went back to Sea World over the Thanksgiving break to start our Christmas celebrations.  Sea World was transformed into a Christmas Wonderland and it was oh so beautiful.  We had lots of fun watching the new Christmas themed shows (Beluga Whales, Shamu, Clyde & Semore, & Two Sesame Street Shows).  We went on a family train ride, Abby saw Santa Claus (but was not very excited to see him), we enjoyed all the shows (except Abby never likes Clyde & Semore), and enjoyed all the pretty lights.  It was a fantastic family day.  I wanted to freeze time for a moment because the three of us had a great day together in San Antonio.  Abby was so happy and danced and cheered for her favorite Sesame Street characters.  She was so cute and I personally thought she stole the show because she was so excited and twirled in a circle and danced up a storm.  Abby LOVED watching the roller coasters.  She called them "Choo-Choo's."  We went with it...it is kind of like a train but just a super fast, flying upside down train, right?!?  We were all exhausted by the end of the day but it is definitely a day that will go down in memory lane for us!  I just love my family to pieces!  Sea World (trip one, two, and three) were all successes!  Abby & I love Sea World.  However, next year we may give Sea World a break and try something new.

Abby is 15 Months Old!

I just can’t believe Abby is now 15 months old.  This has come so fast it is just crazy.  I still remember the day she was born very well and it’s just crazy knowing that was well over a year ago.  Abby is such a cutie pie at 15 months.

Ø  She can be so sweet and loving, but she also has the “Helford” temper that Mommy just laughs at.
Ø  She loves babies and will carry a baby around with her almost always.
Ø  She loves blankets to snuggle with.
Ø  Her hair is a dirty blond with a tint of red in it.  Her hair is curly, curly but is getting much longer.
Ø  Abby knows most of her body parts, farm sounds, can do puzzles, can stand on her tip toes, and so much more.
Ø  Abby is very observant and catches on very, very quickly.
Ø  Abby’s eyes are a beautiful brown color.
Ø  Abby is in a size 18 months.  She wears a size 4 diaper and size 4 shoe.
Ø  Abby loves Tec the Tractor, Chuggington (Choo Choo), Doc McStuffin (Doc), Peppa the Pig (Oink), and pretty much is a television junkie.
Ø  Abby likes pizza, French fries, eggs, chips, and ice cream.  Those are her favorite.  She does love milk too!
Ø  Abby will look at a picture and point and say “Abby.”  She loves to say her name now.
Every day Abby amazes us at just how smart she is.  I love her more and more each minute.  Every day is a great day with Miss Abbygale around.  She just absolutely melts my heart.  We love you to the moon and back and more Miss Abby.  XOXO!!
