A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful memories of the present, and the hope and promise of the future.

14 Months Old!

Abby is now 14 months old and just so full of energy. She is practically running (fast walking) and has become a little tornado. She is into everything and goes, goes, goes. She isn’t a fan of napping or sleeping and wants to be playing or wants to be outside.

Abby really only eats chips, french fries, and ice cream good. Every other food she just picks at. She is such a healthy eater wouldn’t you say?!?

Abby has about 11 teeth and is now in 18 month clothing. She wears a size 4 shoe and a size 4 diaper.

Abby is learning to play sports. She will make a basket and throws her hands up when we say “score.” She also likes baseball and will knock the ball off the t-ball when you say “batter, batter, batter, swing!”

She still LOVES Tec the tractor.

Abby still does not sleep through the night. No such luck in the sleeping department. Some nights are better than others.

Abbygale is such a smart little girl. I’m amazed at how I can ask her a question and she responds by bringing me the right thing or pointing to the correct answer. She is a little mocking bird still and tries to repeat just about everything you say.

Each month that goes by Miss Abby is growing, getting smarter, and just becoming a big girl. There is really no more baby anymore. She is the center of our lives and I really cannot remember my life without my Abby. She brings such joy to my life and her Daddy and I love her to the moon and back and more. XOXO!

13 Month Photo Shoot

Granbette gave Abbygale a super cute outfit so I couldn't resist doing a photo session with her.  The pink girly outfit was absolutely adorable and Abby was such a princess wearing it!  Photo shoots don't go quite as planned since Abby has her own idea of what she will and will not be doing these days.  However, we got one great picture to get framed for our wall even though it wasn't what I was originally envisioning.  I was envisioning getting a picture of Abbygale smiling and posing pretty for her Mommy.  No smiles.  Squatting was her posing so she could pick up rocks.  Our pretty, pretty princess changed the plans but it all worked out wonderfully.  We got a picture of Abby squatting, looking away but I think it turned out very sweet!

On a different note, how many faces is Abby making in all the pictures.  I love her facial expressions (like her Daddy).  She cracks me up with all her faces!  To me this photo shoot showed off many of her "what are you doing Mom" and "come on Mom" faces.
