Abby's 1st Easter - April 2012

Abby had a great first Easter.  It was busy but lots of fun!  The Saturday evening before Easter we went to Melinda's for some family and fun time!  We had dinner, did an Easter egg hunt with Cousin Daxton and Cousin Preston and played.  I can't wait for Abby to get a little bigger.  I really think Daxton and Abby are going to be very close since they live so close to each other.  On Easter Sunday we had another Easter egg hunt with Cousin Preston and then Sunday evening had an Easter egg hunt with Cousin Colton.  Abby sure does love her cousins!  Abby loves to shake the Easter eggs like a rattle.  Therefore, she loved the eggs filled with money.  We put it all in her piggy bank.  She got money in her eggs, clothes, a bench with her name on it, an Easter Bunny animal, a cookie jar, a Easter sock monkey, Little People Farm, lots and lots of books, bubbles, and the list goes on and on.  Can we say well loved!?!  It looked like Christmas at our house.  I am so grateful to have Abby in my life so getting a little carried away might be Mommy's normal thing.  Abby also got lots of gifts for her Grandparents, Aunts, Cousins, and family.  Abby is so well behaved and perfect she deserves everything!
Abby's first Easter has come and gone and it was lots of fun!  She looked beautiful in her Easter best and our little princess is just getting so big!  Mommy is going to miss all the 'firsts.'

Easter Mini Session - March 31, 2012

Abby had a Easter Mini Session photo shoot.  It turned out okay but she wasn't really in the smiling mood.  Poor thing was hot and tired, I think!  She sure looked cute though!  She got to play with Easter eggs and pet a bunny.  She is going to be an animal lover like her Mommy, I think!

After A Day At School...

After a day at Aunt Melissa's school, I am just so tired!  Being in the car is just so exhausting.  Playing at Aunt Melissa's is just so exhausting.  Eating is just so exhausting.  Watching Sesame Street is just so exhausting.  Sometimes when I get home from a fun-filled day with Aunt Melissa I am just so tired.  I wanted to play some more so Daddy put me in my swing.  Instead of helping Daddy outside I fell asleep.  Swinging is just so relaxing!  I was really just resting my eyes and NOT SLEEPING!

Abby Has Some Teeth!

Abby is no longer toothless!  She got two teeth in at the same time.  Her bottom center two teeth are her first teeth to come in.  They broke the skin and truly became teeth around April 1, 2012.  Abby has teeth now at a little over 7 months!  Yay - pretty soon she will be eating all the good kid food: chicken nuggets, fish sticks, pizza, etc. 

She does get a little fussy when she is teething but who doesn't!?!  We give her lots of loving, teething tablets, and frozen teethers.  This seems to make everything at least a little bit better!

I couldn't get a picture of her teeth, but Abby was trying to let me snap those two teeth!  She showed me her tongue really instead!  Then she said, "Hey - Mom Stop it!"
