Abbygale Kate is so much fun these days. She loves to dress up and wear pretty dresses, crowns, high heels, wands, etc. She is starting to want to dress herself more and more. I would have never thought I would go out to eat when Abbygale is dressed in play clothes but I must admit it happens these days (and I really think she looks so precious and beautiful, even though a little crazy).
Abbygale has a big imagination and loves to call Doc McStuffin about her or her baby being sick. She always says a snake bit her. A really big snake. Too cute.
She is a helper. She loves to help with anything but especially cooking dinner. She might be a future chef!

Abbygale Funny Sayings/Things Abbygale Does At 2 - 2.5
Here are some of the funny things Abbygale does and says at 2+. She is a little hoot!
1) When she is laying down she must have one hand in the pillowcase rubbing the pillowcase. This is her comforting blanket.
2) We have had some trouble getting Abby in the car seat. Trouble meaning stuck in a parking lot for 45 minutes because our little girl didn't want in her seat. Now we say "We are calling the cow to come and get your car seat. You better hurry. Moo....moo." She will jump in the car seat and say "My car seat. Not the Moo Cow's." Whatever works we will do :)
3) When Abby is smelly, I will say "Whoa, who stinks?" She says "Abby do. Abby smells like Daddy." Ha, ha! I think we have picked on Daddy a little too much wouldn't you say!?!
4) Abby will say "Mommy's mean," "Daddy's mean," "George's mean," and "Matty's mean." She's a toot. She will also say "X is sweet."
5) I will say "Abbygale don't do that unless you want to go to time-out." She has gotten so smart she now says "Nnnooo. Mommy go to time-out. Not Abby." I couldn't help but laugh the first time. We are creating a monster :) But such a precious, beautiful monster.
6) Abbygale LOVES mermaids. She thinks "Barbies" are "Mermaids." And they live "under the sea in Bastrop." Everything is "Bastrop" these days. Bastrop is a paradise where you can shop for anything and everything in Abbygale's eyes. LOVE IT!
7) Abbygale has expanded her mermaid love. She now says "Go to Bastrop to get mermaids and baby and ..." So funny! She loves mermaids, babies, and kitties among other things!
8) Abby now says "I love my Mommy or I love my Daddy." It melts my heart to pieces. She started saying this at about 2 years. We use to say "I love Abby" and she would respond "uh huh." Silly girl!
9) Abby wakes up in the morning and says "Mommy wake up. Wake Up Mommy. The sun is up (while pointing to daylight)." Ha!
10) Abby always says "I want to do it all by myself." She is getting so independent.
11) I tell Abbygale I love her to the moon and stars and back and more. She now tells me this is how much she loves me too. Melts.My.Heart!
12) Abbygale loves to dance and will say "Shake your booty. Shake your booty!" So funny!
13) Abbygale loves to wear really soft clothes (night gowns) of mine or Nana's. Funny girl! She say's "so soft Mommy!"
14) At a little over 2 years old, Abbygale has become so much more independent. She will go with people or do things 'all by herself' (like she says) and will just say "Bye, Mommy." She is brave and such a strong little girl!
15) Abbygale is big into using the word "so." That is SO soft; that is so silly; and you are so sweet. She is so a cutie!
16) Abbygale has been into matching colors and things since a little over 2 years old. She is big into "Hey, the balloon matches my shirt" or whatever. It is so cute!

Abbygale's First Home
Abbygale's first home will always have a special place in my heart. This is the house we made a home and the first place Abbygale came to after leaving the hospital. I worked hard on getting the perfect room for Miss Abby, decorating it in flowers, butterflies, and with a beautiful pink picket fence. This is the home Abbygale learned to smile, laugh, crawl, and walk at. Closing the door in this chapter is a little difficult but we are going to move on and create a home else where. Abbygale is insisting on a pink room, so pink it is! The main reason for our move is to put Miss Abbygale in the Bastrop School District since currently we are in the Smithville ISD. With Mommy and Daddy both working in Austin, driving from Rosanky to Smithville then to Austin each day doesn't sound do-able. Please pray that we are making the right decisions and Miss Abbygale will love our new home.
We are set to close on the house on February 24, 2014...Abbygale's last day at her first house!

Granbette's January 2014
In mid-January we went to Granbette's to celebrate our wonderful grandmother's birthday and hang out with the family. Mawmaw, Pawpaw, Rikki (and gang), and us were all able to come up to visit with Granbette. We had a great time singing her happy birthday, visiting, and eating cheesecake. We hope she enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed her!
One day Melinda and Daxton were able to come down and play. The cousins all enjoyed playing outside together. They played guns, in the leaves, chase, and ball. It was a great time!

Abbygale took this beautiful picture of Mawmaw! She's getting good with the camera!

Potty Trained - January 2014
Abbygale has been so good going to the big girl potty. She stays in 'big girl panties' all day long and just wears diapers at night. We are so proud of her! 2 years and 4 months and potty trained! Woohoo!

Gymnastics at 2
Abbygale has started gymnastics class January 2014 at a little over 2 years old. She went out there "all by herself" and was such a brave little girl. She was the youngest but did so great. Her socialization skills have definitely improved and she is growing on up! She loves to be upside down and roll so we thought this would fit her just fine - we were right. After her first class she said "more." Love this girl to the moon and stars and back and so much more!
