Yellowstone - September 2015
For our family trip this year we went to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. We flew into Salt Lake City, Utah and drove up to the parks. It was fabulous! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We saw lots of animals included moose, elk, deer, bison, chipmunks, squirrels, and more! We, however, did not see any bears even though we looked everyday. We stayed in cabins that had no Internet. This was a problem for Abbygale because she loves her You Tube! Poor thing didn't know what to do without Internet but besides that she had a great time and did wonderful for being in the car so long. We went to Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. Her favorite things about Yellowstone was seeing the geysers and buffalo's. Here is our trip through pictures:

Abbygale Kate's 4 Year Check-Up
On August 31, 2015, Abby had her four year check-up with Dr. Hughes. She was going to be brave but was scared of getting shots so we promised her a toy afterwards. Needless to say, the day included her favorite, McDonald's, as well as a few toys (Shopkins, slap bracelet, etc.)!
At four years old, Abby weighs 47 1/2 pounds (around 97%) and is 42 inches tall (around 90-95%). She took a hearing and vision test, which she did fine on. Since she was just four, they are going to do again at five because her attention span (like all four year olds) is short. She got two shots - MMR and Varicella (Chickenpox). Both of these shots go in the back of the arm and burn. She did really good and only had a few tears. Dr. Hughes gave her two tokens and the nurse gave her one token so she had three tokens to get little surprises with. She was happy with that! We brought "Teddy" with us who Abby hugged on and the nurse put gloves on. Abby thought that was the funniest thing.
Abby will be getting the flu mist in a couple of weeks. They only had the shots available and why get another shot when they offer a mist? The problem is the mist hasn't come in yet so we will have to run back by to the shot box and get it in the next couple of weeks.
Abbygale is a big girl who is so much fun! Fingers crossed we aren't sick this year and we don't have to visit Dr. Hughes until she is the BIG 5!!!
