Sesame Street Live 2014

Mommy, Daddy, and Abbygale went to Sesame Street Live.  We had such a fun family day!  Abbygale danced, clapped, and loved the show.

Abbygale Kate at 2 1/2 to 3

Abbygale Kate is such a neat freak.  I'm talking super clean freak.  She screams and freaks out if anything is dirty.  She says "yuck" all the time as well as "dirty," "stinky," and everything else you can imagine.  She holds her nose quite often from any smell: animals, house cleaner, food cooking, etc.  She is potty trained and will say she needs to go to the bathroom but once you get her in there if it isn't clean she will not go.  I'm talking through a fit will not go because it is "dirty and so yucky."  The other day she would not go to the restroom at the zoo, at Lowe's, at McDonald's, or at Wal-Mart.  My poor child expects nothing less than spotless!

Abby is so cute and likes to hop like a bunny.  However, her hop is kind of like a one legged skip.  It's hilarious.

The child LOVES animals but especially cats.  She is head over heals when it comes to kitty cats.  She talks so gently and puts her hand out to pet them.  Mommy is a dog lover and Abbygale is a cat lover.

Talk about tall.  Abbygale is so tall for her age.  She is about the same size as her older cousins Colton (who is 4, whereas Abbygale is 2 1/2) and Preston (who is 4 1/2, closer to 5).

Abbygale loves the outdoors.  Loves mud puddles.  Loves water puddles.  Loves tractors.  Loves hay.  Loves birds.  Loves just the beauty of the outdoors.  However, she is a girly-girl too and loves dresses.  Loves piggy-tails.  Loves make-up.  Loves fingernail/toenail polish.  And loves girl-power!

Abbygale Kate is in gymnastics class in Bastrop and Music Together class in Lockhart.   They are both Mommy and Me classes and she loves both of them so much!

Abbygale loves to be naked, loves to give kisses and hugs, and is so silly and sweet at the same time.  We pray every night before bed and she is so good at her night time prayer.  She is Mommy's everything and I love her to the "moon and stars and back and more.  Forever and ever Amen."  XOXO!

Since We've Moved from 2565 HWY 304...

Since we've moved from 2565 HWY 304, Abbygale thinks we live at the 'barn.'  She will say "let's go to the barn" which means "lets go home to the camper."  The RV is down by Grandpa's barn so she simply thinks we live at the 'barn.'  My poor baby will laugh and say "like a moo cow."  Yep, so we live at the barn like cows.  I would have never imagined. Never in my life imagined it would come to this.

We have moved from the RV to the old white house that is on our property.  We will be using this house as rental property eventually.

The new house was started in March 2014 and should take approximately 4-5 months to build.

A Day at the Austin Zoo

Abbygale and I had a Mommy-Daughter date and went to the Austin Zoo.  We had so much fun looking at all the animals, feeding some animals, having a picnic, and riding the choo-choo train (twice).  Abbygale was so cute holding her nose as she thought most animals were smelly.  However, she says she loves animals and they are 'so sweet.'  Her favorite for sure was the train...that is all she talked about.  However, she loved feeding the baby deer (axis) too.  The llamas were a little too big for her and the goats were too aggressive for her style.  The axis was calm, cute, and collective.  :)

We had a great day and enjoyed spending some quality and fun time together.

Abbygale Kate at 2 1/2 Years

I could use a gazillion words to describe my Abbygale Kate.  Some that come to the top of my head are sweet, funny, loving, well-mannered, beautiful, kind, a little terror, sassy, sassy, and sassy!  She is such a little stinker and toot but yet so gentle, kind, and loving.  She is so perfect in my eyes and the best thing that has ever happened to me.  I love my Little Bit more than any words can say.

At 2 1/2 she is talking and talking and talking.  Nonstop talking.  She says full sentences and asks "What does that mean?" "Why?"  She is so verbal and talks with her face too (just like her Daddy and his face expressions).

Abbygale is adventurous but yet reserved.  She wants to do stuff "all by herself" but so worried about getting hurt too.  However, at the playground when she is around other kids she becomes braver and tries to do exactly what they are doing.  She has really become a lot more social with other adults and kids, which is a huge improvement.

Abbygale has been taking gymnastics class and each week improving and improving.  She says her favorite is the balance beam (and recently the bar too).  She is doing so well in gymnastics and seems to really enjoy it.  In mid-March she will also be taking Music Today class where they sing, play instruments, move, and enjoy music!  I am thinking she is going to love this!

She loves money and every time she puts money in her piggy bank she says she is saving to go see Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck!  We will be planning a trip soon it looks like :)

Abbygale talks about school and how she wants to ride a yellow school bus, wear a backpack, etc.  She is so cute and just g rowing up way to quick.

Abbygale can wear 3T and 4T clothing.  Some 3T clothing just doesn't really fit anymore since she is so tall.  She is potty trained completely during the day.  She still drinks milk at night so not quite potty trained at night.  However, she has been potty trained during the day since 2 or right after she turned two.

Abbygale loves to dress up, put on make-up, paint her fingers/toe nails, and just get all glamorous.  She is a girly-girl for sure!  However, she loves country living too and loves to rope goats, feed cows, pet animals, and play in the dirt.  A great mixture of country and city!

Abbygale Kate - I love you to the moon and stars and back and more.  Forever and ever Amen!  (we have made this into a little song we sing every night.  and day.  all the time basically. ha!)
