June 2012 Trip #2

After visiting with Granbette and going to Galveston, we headed to Matagorda, Texas.  We had such a good time.  Matagorda is so peaceful and still somewhat remote.  It was so nice to be the only people on the beach besides two County workers cleaning up the beach.  We hung out at the beach and looked for shells, we went to the Matagorda Center and played on the playground and looked at their exhibits, and we walked the pier.  It was so peaceful and beautiful.  Abby loved the beach and waves.  She got super excited!  However, she wanted to be held at the beach but loved it from our arms!
